Red Spicy Tomato Pork

Masak Merah, Malaysians’ favourite dish is the only curry that is cooked without coconut milk and usually cooked with fried chicken.


HK people love pork and hence we couldn’t resist using a different meat for this spicy tomato dish. We first semi fried the pork scotch fillet. Then separately we cooked the paste with added tomato purée and onions. Some prefer to add lemongrass for further enhanced flavour. Once the sauce is cooked through, we added the pork back to simmer slowly until the meat is tender.


Be adventurous, why not give this a try other than the conventional chicken Masak Merah?
